AI responses typically include:

  2. Supporting Details - Additional context and specifics

  4. Confidence Indicators - When information may be uncertain

Reading Responses

Clear Answers

When the AI finds relevant information:

"According to the structural specifications (Section 3.2), the foundation requires C30/37 concrete with a minimum depth of 800mm."

The response includes:

  • Direct answer to your question
  • Source reference (Section 3.2)
  • Specific details (concrete grade, depth)

Partial Answers

When information is incomplete:

"The electrical specifications mention cable requirements, but I couldn't find specific details about conduit sizes in the uploaded documents."

The AI clearly states:

  • What was found
  • What's missing
  • Suggestions for clarification

No Information Found

When no relevant data exists:

"I couldn't find information about HVAC specifications in the project documents. This topic may not be covered, or documents may need to be uploaded."

Document References

Answers reference source documents:

  • Document name - Which file contains the information
  • Section/Page - Where to find it
  • Quote - Relevant excerpt when applicable

When information comes from several documents:

Lower Confidence
