Project Settings

Configure your project preferences and integrations.


Overview

Project settings let you customize:

  • Basic project information
  • Cloud storage integrations
  • Team permissions
  • Notification preferences
  • Project status

Accessing Settings

  1. Open your project.

  2. Click Settings in the project navigation.

  3. Or click the gear icon next to the project name.


General Settings

Project Name

Change the project name:

  1. Click on the project name field.

  2. Enter the new name.

  3. Click Save.

Project Description

Add or update the description:

  1. Click the description field.

  2. Enter project details.

  3. Click Save.

Project Status

Set the current status:

Status Meaning
Active Project is ongoing
On Hold Temporarily paused
Completed Project finished
Archived Hidden from main list

Integrations

Cloud Storage

Connect cloud storage providers:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Click Connect next to Dropbox or OneDrive.

  3. Follow the authorization flow.

  4. Select the folder to sync.

Disconnecting

To remove a connection:

  1. Go to Integrations.

  2. Click Disconnect next to the service.

  3. Confirm the disconnection.


Notification Settings

Project Notifications

Configure what triggers notifications:

Notification Default
New items On
Item updates On
New comments On
Due date reminders On
Document sync Off

Changing Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications.

  2. Toggle each notification type.

  3. Changes save automatically.


Access Control

Project Visibility

Setting Who Can See
Team Only Invited members only
Organization All organization members

Member Permissions

See Managing Team for permission levels.


Data Management

Export Project Data

Export all project data:

  1. Go to Settings > Data.

  2. Click Export.

  3. Choose format (JSON or CSV).

  4. Download the export file.

Delete Project

To delete a project:

  1. Go to Settings > Danger Zone.

  2. Click Delete Project.

  3. Type the project name to confirm.

  4. Click Delete.

Permanent Deletion

Deleting a project removes all items, documents, and reports permanently. This cannot be undone.


Advanced Settings

Custom Fields

If enabled, configure custom item fields:

  1. Go to Settings > Custom Fields.

  2. Add or edit field definitions.

  3. Fields appear on all items.

Default Values

Set defaults for new items:

  • Default assignee
  • Default due date offset
  • Default item type
