SiteWhiz creates reports from:

  • Voice recording sessions
  • Item collections
  • Project summaries
  • Custom selections

Session Reports

Generated from mobile voice sessions:

  • Automatic transcription
  • AI-extracted items
  • Timeline of observations
  • Attached photos

Item Reports

Generated from item lists:

  • Filtered item collections
  • Status summaries
  • Assignee breakdowns
  • Due date tracking

Summary Reports

Project overviews:

  • Activity summaries
  • Progress metrics
  • Team contributions
  • Trend analysis

Creating from Mobile

Voice Session Report

  1. Complete a voice recording session.

  2. Review and save the items.

  3. Report generates automatically.

  4. Find it in the Reports list.

Quick Report

  1. Tap + > Quick Report.

  2. Select items to include.

  3. Add notes or summary.

  4. Generate the report.


Creating from Admin App

From Items Page

  1. Filter items as desired.

  2. Click Generate Report.

  3. Choose report format.

  4. Download or save.

From Reports Page

  1. Go to Reports.

  2. Click New Report.

  3. Select report type.

  4. Configure options.

  5. Generate.


Report Options

Content Selection

Choose what to include:

Option Description
All items Everything in filter
Selected items Only checked items
Date range Items from period
Type filter Specific item types

Format Options

PDF Sharing, printing

Word Editing, customizing

Layout Options

  • Include photos
  • Show/hide descriptions
  • Group by type or location
  • Include timestamps

Report Contents

Standard Sections

Most reports include:

  1. Header - Project name, date, generator
  2. Summary - Key statistics
  3. Items - Detailed list
  4. Photos - Visual evidence
  5. Footer - Page numbers, timestamp

Customizing Sections

Where available:

  1. Click Customize.

  2. Enable/disable sections.

  3. Reorder as needed.

  4. Save preferences.


Saving Reports

Automatic Saving

Session reports save automatically:

  • Stored in project
  • Available in Reports list
  • Synced across devices

Manual Saving

For generated reports:

  1. Click Save to Project.

  2. Or click Download.

  3. Choose save location.


Sharing Reports

Download and Share

  1. Open the report.

  2. Click Download.

  3. Share the file via email, etc.

If available:

  1. Click Share.

  2. Copy the link.

  3. Recipients need project access.


Troubleshooting

Report Won't Generate

If generation fails:

  1. Check internet connection.

  2. Verify items exist in selection.

  3. Try smaller selection.

  4. Refresh and try again.

Missing Content

If content is missing:

  1. Check filter settings.

  2. Verify photos are uploaded.

  3. Wait for sync to complete.
